Razer Challenge

European Call of Duty 4 teams to batthe for €500.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

7th November 2009 (Huntingdon, UK) – Heaven Media are pleased to announce a new partnership between esports tournament organiser Esports Heaven and gaming peripherals experts Razer.

Razer will bring you all the excitement as they offer the best Call of Duty 4 teams the chance to compete for a cash prize of €500 in a winner-takes-all format on Esports Heaven. A minimum of 64 teams will get the chance to participate in this one week event taking place in the middle of November. Registrations open on Saturday 7th of November, and the tournament is expected to fill up in record time!

This tournament may very well be the last high profile tournament for Call of Duty 4, with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 about to hit the shelves, moving most of the community to this new game.

As the world’s leading manufacturer of high-end precision gaming products and peripherals, Razer are famous for their expert knowledge in this area, and for their eagerness to reward the community that they love.

“Offering the best possible competitions under the best possible circumstances is what we love to do,” said Adam Godfrey, Business Development Manager for Heaven Media. “The support that Razer gives us enables us to do exactly that, and with the Razer Challenge we will be able to offer a whole new level of competition to all the Call of Duty 4 teams out there.”

“Razer is a brand for gamers, by gamers and that is why we support the esports scene, helping gamers do what they love,” said Bernard Hammond, Director of Marketing for Razer. “With this tournament we hope to bring out the best competitive spirit among teams and players all over the continent, as they fight to prove they are the best of the best.”

These Razer tournaments will be covered by Cadred.org and TEK-9.org, two of Europe’s most influential esports coverage sites.
