The K2 is the latest addition to a line up of high profile, high performance PC gaming hardware by Raptor Gaming Technology GmbH. Designed with the serious gamer at heart, the K2 has been built with components only found in industrial standards of keyboard. Being developed and manufactured solely in Germany has ensured that every element of the K2 is perfect for ultimate reactivity, comfort, durability and reliability during extensive game play.
The K2 is based on Advanced Keyboard Technology, ensuring button presses react instantaneously with a pressure density and travel distance pre-determined and tested by Raptor engineers. The technology is also designed to operate with 100% efficiency for over 20 million key presses. Each key is designed with 20% more surface area than a typical keyboard ensuring a button press is less likely to be missed in the most hectic and intensive gaming situations.
The included wrist pad is secured by two highly durable clips allowing it to be detached if preferred but also ensuring that it remains intact and sturdy if any sudden movement occurs during game play. Volume control and mute buttons can be found at the lower part of the K2, directly controlling the PC system's master volume control, ideal when using headphones or speakers. A lengthy 2.5m USB cable means positioning of the keyboard is not restricted in any application.
Raptor's piest de resistance is the K2's bundled software, RAPTOR-LOAD, supplied on CD. With a press of a button, the K2 is automatically switched to Game-Mode. Game-Mode utilises the RAPTOR-LOAD software, capable of configuring, remapping and disabling any key on the keyboard. Sequences and button combinations can also be programmed to a single button and up to 40 button configuration profiles can be saved for different applications and games.
