Radon Labs official Nintendo DS Developer

The Berlin game-developer Radon Labs is included in the circle of official Nintendo-Developers.

With the receiving of the Nintendo DS Dev-Kits to Radon Labs, we will begin to develop our own original game ideas for Nintendo DS and port in the Nebula2 Engine. With this port the NEBULA2 Engine is expanded around another important platform. In the near future the DS-Port for the NEBULA2 Engine and the "NEBULA2 toolkit for Maya" will be commercially available additionally for other developers.

This extension prepares for further ports to next-generation consoles (Xbox360, PSIII).

Der Berliner Spiele-Entwickler Radon Labs ist in den Kreis der offiziellen Nintendo-Developer aufgenommen worden.

Mit dem Erhalt der Dev-Kits für das Nintendo DS wird bei Radon Labs, neben der Entwicklung eigener Spielideen, mit der Portierung der Nebula2-Engine begonnen. Damit wird die NEBULA2 Engine um eine wichtige Plattform erweitert und der Ausbau auf weitere Konsolen-Plattformen vorbereitet.

Nach erfolgter Portierung und Erhalt der Middleware-Lizenz wird der DS-Port für die NEBULA2 Engine und das "Nebula2 Toolkit for Maya" auch für andere Entwickler erh^TMltlich sein.

NEBULA2 ist die weltweit führende PC OpenSource Engine, mit - allein in Deutschland - mehr als 40 kommerziellen veröffentlichten Titeln. Bislang liefen Versionen der Nebula Engine auf Windows, Xbox, Linux, Irix und Mac.

"Nebula2 Toolkit for Maya" ist eine optimierte 3D-Toolpipeline für NEBULA2 und wird von mehr als 40 Entwicklungsstudios und Ausbildungseinrichtungen weltweit verwendet.
