Pro Evolution Soccer sales lead on PlayStation 3

58 per cent of sales of Konami's latest football title on Sony's home console

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has entered the UK all formats chart at number one, with 58 per cent of sales on the PlayStation 3.

With the PlayStation 2 version a couple of weeks away, 40 per cent of sales are on the Xbox 360 and the remaining 2 per cent on PC.

The first week success pushes EA's FIFA 09 to number two in the charts after two week's at the top with a 54 per cent drop in sales.

THQ's Saints Row 2 enters the charts at number three, with 73 per cent of sales on the Xbox 360, and 27 per cent on PlayStation 3.

Take-Two's BioShock re-enters the top 40 at 14 this week thanks to the release of a PlayStation 3 version, while THQ's new IP De Blob manages to debut at 29, according to data from GfK Chart-Track.
