Prime Games/bhv Distribution deal
Former takes over latter's games publishing operations.

Stuttgart/Germany: August 134, 2009. Publisher Prime Games is to take over the complete games publishing business of bhv Distribution, moving from Producing and Financing to an active publishing role. As a result of bhv’s move towards a specialized distributor, the transfer includes all game brands and licenses of bhv, including such gems as the celebrated Ankh adventure game franchise.
Both companies will continue to work together closely, with bhv handling all physical distribution for Prime Games. Digital distribution will be handled by partner Softdistribution.
„Prime Games is focussed on the production of outstanding games regardless of distribution avenues, creating content for all platforms, be it PC, console or mobile devices,“ explains Managing Director Helmut Schmitz. „Prime Games stands for accessible games for a broad audience – we’re targeting the growing casual gamer market with family entertainment products. We’re looking forward to meeting our partners at Gamescom, where we will be presenting the first upcoming game projects.”
Prime Games can be found at Gamescom in Cologne from August 19-22 in the business area, hall 4.2, booth B31/D30.
