Sony reveals figure in investor presentation

Sony's investor day materials have revealed that its subscription service, PlayStation Plus, now has 20.8 million subscribers.
It also listed the install base of 40 million PlayStation 4s - "fastest penetration in PlayStation history" - as a key achievement for 2015.
The presentation described some of Sony's key strategies for 2016 as capitalizing on opportunities provided by digital growth and expanding the PS VR ecosystem to non-game business.
