PlayStation Experience profile raised by new MGS3 trailer

Hideo Kojima, the father of the Metal Gear Solid series, will be attending the PlayStation Experience event at Earls Court, and he's bringing a new MGS3 trailer to the party.

Konami's Hideo Kojima will be attending the PlayStation Experience consumer games show at Earls Court later this month, according to a report on the official PlayStation website, and will be unveiling a "director's cut" version of the Metal Gear Solid 3 trailer that brought crowds to a standstill at E3 in May this year.

Kojima-san will attend the first two days of the event, which runs from August 28th to 31st at Earls Court, London, giving consumers their first taste of the latest update to the massive-selling franchise and signing a few autographs into the bargain.

MGS3 is just the latest of many big-name titles confirmed for the PlayStation Experience event. Amongst other highlights will be Gran Turismo 4, True Crime: Streets of LA, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, Pro Evolution Soccer 3, Jak II and Capcom's Resident Evil Outbreak, the first all-new game in the series' traditional survival horror mould to appear on PS2.

Apart from games, the show will also play host to an hour of filming for Popworld. The Channel 4 show will be there to keep tabs on music acts including Lisa Maffia, Big Brovaz, Jamelia, Mya, Javine and Abs, with martial arts, basketball and breakdancing demonstrations going on elsewhere.
