Player X and Frontier go to the movies with Wallace & Gromit

London and Cambridge, 16th September 2005: London-based mobile games publisher and distributor Player X and leading independent games developer and mobile games publisher Frontier Developments today announced that they have joined forces to bring to market the mobile game for forthcoming movie, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (COTWR).

The game is the first appearance of the much-loved Oscar®-winning duo in a mobile phone game. COTWR has already been signed up by operators who together reach a total global market of more than 300 million customers - it will be available on networks that range from Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, O2 and 3 and all major Scandinavian operators in Europe, Cingular in North America, all major Latin American countries and Asian territories such as Hong Kong, Singapore, The Philippines and Japan. More deals are in the pipeline.

The Curse of the Were-Rabbit: The Great Rabbit Round Up mobile game is a fun, easy to pick up, scrolling, 2D top-down puzzler that is that is presented with all the unique charm and humour of Wallace & Gromit and offers a great progressive gaming experience for players of all ages.

Since their first Oscar®-winning appearance in A Grand Day Out, all Wallace & Gromit films have been aired on multiple global networks and generated sales of more than 31,000,000 units in licensed merchandise.
