Player One Serves Up Ace 'Davis Cup Tennis' Game

London, 5 April 2006 - Player One Limited, leading global publisher of games and content for mobile phones, is delighted to announce the release of its latest smashing game - Davis Cup Tennis.

From its inception, the Davis Cup competition has always attracted players of the highest calibre, and next month, the Great Britain Davis Cup Team, featuring Andy Murray, head to Scotland's Braehead Arena to face Serbia-Montenegro in a second round Euro-African Zone Group One tie - the first in Britain since September 2002 when Great Britain defeated Thailand.

Player One's Davis Cup Tennis game for mobiles, is a knockout style tennis tournament, emulating the competition held each year, which sees elite players from 16 of the most successful tennis nations in the world, battle on the courts in a bid to take home the coveted Davis Cup trophy.

Before officially entering the tournament, mobile tennis players can knock up with the easy practice mode where a coach is on standby to give tips and advice. With simple shot control and intuitive one-thumb game play, players are then ready to battle their way through five rounds, taking on every nation at home or away, during the night under floodlights or in the heat of the day, on grass, grit and artificial surfaces to win the prestigious Davis Cup for their country - the greatest team competition in tennis.

Pete Russell, Managing Director, Player One commented: "The Davis Cup is the most high profile tennis tournament outside of the Grand Slams and we are delighted to announce the release of the game which further underlines our dedication in bringing the highest quality events and names to the public on their mobile."

"Davis Cup Tennis" is just one of a range of high quality licensed titles set for release this year. Future releases include "Jenson Button Grand Prix Racing", "Freddie Flintoff Challenge Cricket", "Nebulus", "Rogue Trooper" and "World Pool Championship (3D)",
