Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again

Decided to give it another bash on the DS.

BURBANK, Calif. – (May 20, 2010) – Disney Interactive Studios has announced Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again for Nintendo DS™. In this new game inspired by the hit Disney XD and Disney Channel television series, players will enter the world of Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher where they will adventure through the depths of Atlantis and outer space, not to mention their own backyard, to build the most wicked rides ever.

“With the success of the first video game, we are excited to offer a new Phineas and Ferb video game to fans this summer,” said Craig Relyea, senior vice president of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios. “True to the Disney Channel series, Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again will bring the humor and sense of adventure from the show home to fans of all ages.”

In this new action platformer game, players will be able to construct and race awesome new rides like skateboards and mine carts, complete puzzles and participate in 12 zany mini-games to build and upgrade new gadgets such as jet packs and tractor beams. Fantastic action sequences including cool boss battles with Agent P will add brand new elements not seen in the first game. Players will also have the opportunity to gather various collectibles around the world, as well as play in four new bonus levels.

The game will also feature many notable characters from the hit TV show including Baljeet, Buford, Isabella and many more. Secret Agent P, Phineas and Ferb’s pet platypus, will have plans of his own as he battles Dr. D and his evil creations including the Norm Robots using his cool new gadgets for battle. Candace will also be around with new “You’re So Busted” mini games where the boys use trampolines, turtles and sinking logs to get away from her.

Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again will take full advantage of the various DS capabilities. Players will be able to compete and play with their friends and share four cool rides via DS download play. In addition, the game will feature DGamer, the online community exclusive to Disney gamers on Nintendo DS, allowing players to connect with others and unlock additional items in their DS game.

Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again will be available this summer for Nintendo DS and is rated E with Mild Cartoon Violence by the ESRB.

Also available this summer from Disney Interactive Studios is a new game addition to the top selling iPhone/iPad game Phineas and Ferb Arcade. In “Escape from Mole-troplis”, fans play as Phineas and Ferb as they venture underground and creep through passages, climb ladders and slide down pipes to try and save Candace. “Escape from Mole-troplis” joins the cast of games that include “S’no Problem”, “Agent P’s Hideout” and “Cowabunga Candace.” All four games are included in Phineas and Ferb Arcade and can be downloaded in the iTunes App Store.
