Also signed up to speak is Steve Youngwood, executive vice president of digital media at MTV, plus PopCap Games co-founder John Vechey and executives from RealNetworks, Nickelodeon, iWin, Yahoo! Games and Vivendi.

"Both Peter and Steve represent the growth and innovation of the casual games business as it takes a strong-hold in new platforms like Microsoftâs Xbox and attracts the interest of large media companies like MTV Networks," said Jessica Tams, managing director of the Casual Games Association.

Casual Connect will take place between July 17 - 19 at the Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Planned highlights will include a one-day casual gaming boot camp, panel discussions and advice on making hit games and building communities.
