This year's guest panelists have been announced for Never Mind the Polygons, a lively panel and game show discussion of development issues held during the Develop conference.

Hosting the show is Toby Barnes from Pixel-Lab, with special guests Angela Fenge from Zoë Mode and Rusalka Clarke from Disney Interactive Studios. Rare's Nick Burton and The Obscure Consultancy's Dan Marchant will serve as team captains. Based on popular TV formats, the discussion is framed with a hard fought quiz with contestants vying for the championship.

âNever Mind the Polygons is not only a useful discussion forum covering many aspects of our industry we might not normally talk about, itâs also immensely entertaining," said Burton. "The pop quiz format works really well and keeps the panel on track, even if it does cause the odd argument, but thatâs all part of the fun.â

The event, which dates back to 2004, is being coordinated by Pixel-Labs and sponsored by Autodesk and bluegfx. Previous panels have included developers from Free Radical, Eurocom, and Strawdog Studios.

Never Mind the Polygons will be held at the Koba Members Club in Brighton on July 26 and is open to all interested game developers and game development students. More information on previous events can be found here.
