CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE, 16 November 2010 - Leading video game publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. today announced NAMCO GENERATIONS™, a brand of digitally distributed games on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system’s PlayStation®Network. Namco Generations games will reinvent favorite Namco franchises with high-definition graphics, enhanced gameplay features, and regularly updated community news.

The Namco Generations brand aims to connect generations of gamers from around the world, reimagining classic Namco games for a new era of fans. Players of all ages will be able to re-discover cultural phenomenons, famed classics and forgotten gems with updated graphics and exciting new features. Namco Generations titles will be updated regularly with Namco Generation News, a newsletter that allows developers to reach out to the community with behind-the-scene information, insider tips, and other special announcements. Players will be able to access the latest community news through the main menu of any Namco Generations title.

PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX, the follow-up to 2007’s award-winning Xbox LIVE Arcade title, will be the first game available under the Namco Generations label when it is released on the 17 ^th of November for Xbox LIVE Arcade, and the 24 ^th of November for PlayStation Network. Additional titles in development include Galaga Legions™ DX and Aero-Cross™, a reimagining of Namco’s 1985 arcade hit, Metro-Cross®. More classic franchise revival announcements can be expected throughout 2011.
