Ozura signs new deal with Dadango

Latest games to go on sale in North America

Singapore-based developer and publisher Ozura Mobile has signed a new deal with Dadango to distribute the company's latest titles in the US and Canada.

Games already lined-up for release include The Duel Online, 2188 Space Wars, Desert Rider and WWD. The agreement will also see titles distributed via Yahoo! Mobile.

"The US and Canadian wireless markets have played a very dominant role in the industry and we are delighted to be working with a well-known publisher such as Dadango, with its strong distribution channels in both countries," said Ozura's H.E. Mah.

"Statistics have shown that despite popular belief that games are mostly played by men, women are bringing in about two-thirds of mobile gaming revenue. Realising that this market trend is permanent, we have developed numerous simple-yet-difficult-to-master casual games to cater to this market segment."

Dadanvo VP Irwin Chen added, "We are pleased to partner with Ozura to provide our carriers and partners with their well-liked casual games which certainly will appeal to the US and Canadian market."
