Owais Farooqui appointment

Joins as VP of marketing.

LOS ANGELES, CA, NOVEMBER 5, 2008 – Today, King (, the world's leading online social gaming company, announced that Owais Farooqui has joined in the newly-created position of Vice President of US Marketing and will be based in the Los Angeles office. Owais has over ten years experience in marketing, most recently at Knowledge Adventure, the leader in adventure-based 3D virtual worlds for kids where Owais created customer acquisition and retention campaigns for their online educational games. Prior to Knowledge Adventure, Owais directed marketing campaigns at Discovery Education.
