12 August 2009 – Guernsey – Offshore International Group today announces expansion and multiple enhanced service offerings to Channel Islands clients. In conjunction with advertising, design, digital and marketing services, the progressive group of agencies also now provides public relations and ‘social media’ marketing.

The expansion comprises two hires in the clients services team including Account Director Louise Gabriel, who joins with 15 years experience in London playing a part in shaping blue-chip brands in the consumer, technology and entertainment fields. Louise brings proven marketing skills from working with an enviable roster of household names including: Apple’s iPhone, Vodafone, Nokia, Star Wars, Warner Brothers and Disney-Pixar. Public Relations has been a specialism, as Louise has worked nationally and internationally with mainstream print, TV and online media. Coordinating high profile global campaigns in the United Sates and Canada, executed in conjunction with Germany, France, Spain -for niche and major brands alike was also a key area.

Also enhancing the client services team as Account Manager is Meriel Stratford-Hall. Meriel has experience in financial marketing and is currently studying for her CIM Marketing Diploma.

Off and online public relations services will now be offered to all clients as part of cohesive communications. Additionally, Oi Digital is developing its digital marketing competencies within the increasingly important ‘social media’ landscape including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

This further ensures all marketing mediums are combined in a way that maximises the impact on a consumer’s mind. The message is that digital is an essential component of any marketing.

In line with this, Oi Digital Managing Director, Dominic Bennett asserts “Within digital Britain, all good businesses know that a web marketing and e-commerce strategy is an essential part of success. As such, Oi Digital is actively looking for more skilled web programmers, due to continued growth and demand”.

The expansion of client services and digital teams at Oi follows seven new client wins in the last two months, recognising the truly progressive blend of traditional and digital marketing expertise. These clients include national and international campaigns for luxury London hotels The Crowne Plaza and 51 Buckingham Gate, plus Guernsey Post.
