El Segundo, Calif.- Nov. 24, 2008 - If standing in line at 4 a.m. waiting for stores to open on Black Friday doesn't appeal, OGPlanet is offering tons of post-Thanksgiving savings that don't require waking up before dawn or braving crazed crowds.
To celebrate the after-Thanksgiving shopping period, OGPlanet is offering three special deals on the company's cross-game currency, Astros. Each player who purchases Astros or redeems either an Ultimate Game Card or an OGPlanet Game Card on Nov. 28 will receive an extra 10 percent bonus Astros, and one lucky Astro purchase made on Nov. 28 will be chosen at random and tripled. Plus, as an extra after-Thanksgiving deal, every OGPlanet player who redeems an OGPlanet Game Card, purchasable only at Blockbuster stores, on Nov. 29 or 30 will receive bonus Astros based on how many hours they spend playing OGPlanet games during the weekend.
In addition to the Astro discounts and bonuses, each of OGPlanet's four games - Albatross18, Rumble Fighter, Cabal, and La Tale - will be offering bonus items with many item purchases. Some of the game-specific bonuses include free Pang items in Albatross18, upgrade items for the new Rudolph pet in Cabal Online, Gold Darts of Luck in La Tale, and a half-off discount on selected Rumble Fighter items.
