NVIDIA appoints new European developer liason

Graphics giant NVIDIA has announced the appointment of a new developer liason manager for Europe, with Guy Grenier moving from the firm's Paris office to strengthen the developer relations team in London.

His appointment brings to 16 the number of developer relations personnel working for NVIDIA in Europe, spread across both marketing support and technical support roles.

Grenier will be working with the company's technical support engineers and business development team to help developers joining NVIDIA's support programme and ensure that NVIDIA is giving them an appropriate level of support.

The company's developer liason team has been hugely successful over the past few years, and is pivotal to initiatives such as the "The Way It's Meant To Be Played" logo programme, which helps developers to ensure that their games are fully optimised for NVIDIA hardware.

Over 250 games have been released under this programme to date, with a further 100 currently in development in Europe alone.
