Nokia unveils seven new N-Gage titles

Nokia has today unveiled seven previously unannounced N-Gage titles for release in 2004 - Ashen, Operation Shadow, Requiem of Hell, Sega Rally Championship, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm, Worms and WWE.

Nokia has today unveiled seven previously unannounced N-Gage titles for release in 2004 - including the first games to be published by the Finnish giant itself, as well as major new titles from key publishers supporting the platform.

The seven games announced in today's statement are Ashen, Operation Shadow, Requiem of Hell, Sega Rally Championship, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm, Worms and WWE, a wide spread of titles which includes some of the industry's biggest franchises.

Many of the games are said to support Bluetooth wireless multiplayer and/or the N-Gage Arena service, while two of them - Ashen and Operation Shadow - are set to be published by Nokia itself, and hence are platform exclusives.

The list proves that despite question marks over the success of the device since its launch in early October, Nokia continues to retain the support of many of the industry's biggest publishers, including Sega, Ubisoft, THQ and Electronic Arts.

In addition to the above list, Nokia has also announced that seven previously announced titles which all support Bluetooth wireless gaming are shipping right now - FIFA 2004, MotoGP, NCAA 2004, Rayman 3, Red Faction, Virtua Tennis and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

Furthermore, early 2004 will also see the release of previously announced titles Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004.
