Speed, dexterity and a daring nature are the only conditions you'll need to win, beat records and unblock new ATBs, locations and modes.
Features
4 extreme locations - Hawaii, Canada, USA and France - to hurtle down steep slopes following for each track your instinct dozens of ways to accomplish a same slope, each one with a true challenge.
4 game modes: Arcade, Stopwatch, Challenge and Freedom.
Arcade - One aim: build up as many points as you can, in the given time: speed, jumps or balance, you will be spared nothing! Collect a number of bonus points (gains in points, speed and time) which can be located on the map via radar.
Stopwatch - Go from A to B in the best time possible: that's all there is to it! Compass, arrows, track indications will help you if you wish.
2 types of challenges:
- Downhill: get from point A to point B in the quickest possible time,
- Cross-country: collect all the objects in the given time.
Challenge - Familiarize yourself with your rider through 32 short and diversified tracks. Perfect for training and quick improvement!
4 types of challenges:
- Dexterity: Complete a marked-out course without straying out of bounds (this challenge necessitates a very good control of the rider),
- Jump: the final score is based on the total distance covered in jumps,
- Tricks: execute series of spectacular figures,
- Wheelie: ride a defined zone touching the ground as little as possible.
Freedom. Ride with a total freedom: there is no time or score constraint.
This mode is unlocked during the previous games: explore the map in total freedom and find the key sections of the trail; train in total freedom; familiarize yourself with the rider.
Different trails are offered in each mode.
Choose among 6 characters (3 men, 3 women) in accord with the challenges, each one detaining its own specificities.
6 crucial record-beating factors at stake:
For the ATB: speed, resistance and braking choose the right settings from the selection on offer!
For your rider: Power, resistance or retrieval choose your strong points!
2 gauges to be closely watched:
Power gauge: When a rider makes an effort (in a climb for example), he uses power and his gauge drops. If the gauge is empty, the rider will have trouble pedalling! In semi-automatic and manual modes, make sure you use your gears so as not to consume all the power gauge.
Concentration gauge: Press the o button and you enter concentration mode: time slows down and control of the rider becomes easier. The "bullet time" effect is very useful in the challenge mode and on trails requiring great precision.
