Nintendo tops European charts
Titles for the Wii have once again surged up the charts to take the top spots in both Germany and Spain
Nintendo titles have regained the top spots on both the German and Spanish software charts for the week ended June 8, according to data released by Media-Control GfK International.
Mario Kart Wii has once again topped the German chart, with Mass Effect for the PC debuting at number three having pushed Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures to fourth place.
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is another new entry in the German chart at sixth place. Race Driver: Grid for the PlayStation 3 was the last new title at nine.
Wii Play has taken the top spot in the Spanish chart with Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit for the PS3 being the highest new entry at number three. Meanwhile Grand Theft Auto IV for the PS3 came in fourth followed by another new title - Ninja Gaiden II - for the Xbox 360 in fifth place.
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit appeared on the chart again at eighth for the Xbox 360 with Race Driver: Grid for the PS3 being the last new title on the chart at ten.
