New GBA WarioWare title to use motion sensor

The next handheld WarioWare game will use a built-in sensor rather than the Game Boy Advance D-pad to gauge movement, according to reports from retailers who attended Nintendo's most recent retailer briefing in Japan this week.

Mawaru Made In Wario - or Spinning WarioWare Inc. as it may be in English - will feature a sensor that picks up twists, turns and tilts and relays it to the game, in a manner not dissimilar to little seen Kirby title Tilt 'N' Tumble.

The sensor movements will certainly add a new edge to Wario's now legendary microgames, of which Nintendo is planning some 200 new offerings, with 100 bonus microgames unlockable by playing through boss stages.

Other details are rather thin on the ground right now, but reports from Japan do confirm that we can expect it to launch over there on October 14th - not the 16th, as Famitsu Weekly reported last week.
