New client and price for Time of Defiance

For immediate release

Cambridge, England, September 15th 2004 - Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games developer Nicely Crafted Entertainment have announced today that their MMO RTS Time of Defiance has shipped an all new version for digital distribution and has also had its monthly subscription priced slashed.

The new software contains brand new audio-visual effects and a number of exciting new features for players including the Eighth House stock market where players can buy or sell resources.

"This new version of Time of Defiance represents a huge step forwards, providing us with a foundation upon which to continue enhancing the product in the future", explains Toby Simpson, Managing Director. "With releases across three continents in the coming six months, we're going to be seeing a lot more new game-play features appearing in the lead-up to Christmas".

To celebrate the release of their new version, Nicely Crafted Entertainment are slashing their prices by 33% as part of their autumn new-version celebration bonanza; and existing customers are not left out either - their subscriptions will be reduced to the new £5 a month price-point.

"The reduction of our subscription bucks the trend and means that Time of Defiance represents even more value for money than before", commented Ben Simpson, Creative Director.

Time of Defiance will be released across south-east Asia during Q4 2004 and early 2005 with releases in North America and across main-land Europe leading up to Christmas 2004. Time of Defiance is a unique on-line strategy game, pitting the wits of thousands of players against each other in a real-time environment.
