New Casual Game Studio Forms to Make Games for You, Your Co-workers, Your Neighbors, and Your Mom

New casual game studio iQ212 launches in the San Francisco Bay Area creating original games designed to delight and entertain the mass-market everywhere they play: on mobile, web, and PC.

San Francisco, CA (February 20th, 2007) - Veteran casual game designer and producer Rick Marazzani has launched a new studio to create and build original games for web, mobile and PC.

"Our games are designed for the mass-market, but please don't call our games 'casual games'", says iQ212 General Manager Rick Marazzani. "There is nothing casual about a commuter, mom or office worker playing one of our games for 30 hours a week."

The iQ212 studio is currently working on three original cross-platform games aimed at delighting and entertaining the widest audiences with fun, approachable and rewarding play experiences. The games are being developed for simultaneous launch across mobile, web and PC to have the broadest promotion and coverage for these original new brands. The three titles will make their debut in San Francisco at the upcoming Games Developer Conference in March 2007.

The iQ212 team includes executives and top tier talent with years of success building hit games, robust game frameworks, and sticky user communities.

Prior to founding iQ212, Rick Marazzani spent eleven years designing and producing top-selling and award-winning games for the leading publishers in PC, web and mobile games: Electronic Arts, Pogo.com and Digital Chocolate.
