Networking in times of COVID-19 crisis: over 2,000 companies join WN Hub

Playrix, Epic Games, Wargaming and other big players join a new online business communication platform

Discover the WN Hub here.

Remember how a couple of months ago reaching your business goals was a matter of some handshakes and hugs at the right place and the right time? Well, those are off the table now, courtesy of COVID-19. Hopefully, not for too long.

In the meantime, does the industry blessed with so many remote work opportunities have to stay disconnected? With offline networking put on hold, WN Media Group, the company behind the White Nights Conference, is rolling out the next best thing: the WN Hub, an online business communication platform for the video games industry.

On Wednesday, April 22, the platform will go live bringing together over 5,000 industry professionals for the ultimate online business networking experience that transcends the virtual conference format. More than 2,000 publishers and development studios will connect through the WN Hub's multiple modules. These include:

Publisher Pavilion

That's where signing publishing deals happens. It's a virtual spot for publishers looking for new projects. Companies may take part in the virtual Publisher Pavillion that will give them better exposure. Developers are advised to take a look at the companies in Publisher Pavilion as they are easy to find and ready to talk about future partnerships.

Developer Showcase

It's a special section featuring games from developers who are looking for partners, publishers, investors or feedback from the industry experts.

To join the showcase, devs need to apply here. Games at different development stages are accepted.

Roundtable discussions and talks by speakers from top game companies

Sharing experiences is an essential part of industry growth. With the WN Hub, participants will be able to join online panel discussions on relevant topics and keep up with the industry trends and news.

More features and networking tools

The platform features internal networking tools including general and personal chats and video calls. No apps have to be installed for that. Users will be able to filter the list of attendees/companies by category, view their profile and request an e-meeting at a time adjustable by both parties.

To help with navigation, an interactive expo zone will be available featuring virtual exhibitor booths.

Among those already registered on the platform are MyTona, Appodeal (Stack company), Larian Studios, Gameloft, ZeptoLab, Ketchapp, Facebook, GamePoint, SuperSonic, Saber Interactive, Kefir!, Google, Vizor Games, Wargaming, AppsFlyer, Playrix, Square Enix, SEGA and many others. The full list of participating companies is available on the website.
