NCsoft Launches European City of Heroes Websites
English, German and French language sites to launch; ‘blog-style’ format enables up-to-minute local content; European Beta sign-up update
Friday 26 November 2004/... MMO gamers across Europe have reason to rejoice as NCsoftTM Europe has announced the imminent arrival of the official European websites for the award-winning massively multiplayer online game - City of HeroesTM.
Available in English, French and German languages, the official websites will be an essential resource to both the existing and the future European City of Heroes communities. They will offer localised content, news relevant to the region and, of particular interest to new players, information on the forthcoming European Beta programme which is scheduled to commence in December.
"The launch of the official European City of Heroes websites is an extremely important step in our plans for the European community. The sites will be substantially different from the US website," says Stephen Reid, Content and Community Manager at NCsoft Europe. "We have decided to go for a blog-style format that allows us to provide localised content in a timely and relevant fashion for our audiences. Every effort has been made to ensure a unique experience for European visitors."
The English language site goes live on Monday 29th November - http://uk.cityofheroes.com/.
The German language site goes live in December - http://de.cityofheroes.com/.
The French language site goes live in December - http://fr.cityofheroes.com/.
