The National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA), which promotes the best in children's videogames and entertainment, is inviting entries from publishers and developers for its annual competition.

Honouring the best in children's software, videogames, DVDs, books, toys and spoken word recordings, award winners will receive extensive coverage during the forthcoming holiday season in over thirty parenting magazines, and/or a two-year priority listing on the parenthood.com website.

Reaching a potential audience of four million parents looking for trusted entertainment that is suitable for their children, winners are free to use the NAPPA seal on promotional materials, websites, packaging and print publications, reassuring parents that their product has been stringently evaluated by a panel of experts for its educational and entertainment value.

According to the testimonials from previous NAPPA award winners, the high profile product placement and 'seal of approval' can generate substantially increased awareness and sales on both a national and an international level.

The deadline for entries for the 2006 awards ends June 30th, and more information on the awards, together with a submission form for the latest competition can be found by visiting the NAPPA website.
