Namco Bandai promises aggressive Euro strategy

With the final integration of Namco and Bandai in Europe now complete, the company has promised an aggressive expansion into the European region.

Following similar moves in Japan and North America, the publisher now aims to challenge rival publishers for market share.

"This integration has been extremely exciting for all concerned," said Masayuki Matsuo, president of Namco Bandai Europe.

"The collective strength of our companies will allow us to position ourselves and our products more aggressively in Europe, competing alongside top tier publishers and supporting our distribution partners to maximise sales and marketing opportunities," he added.

The firm now plans to scale up its product management infrastructure to provide greater support for it's European partners, while it continues to operate out of two offices in Cergy, France, and London, England.
