( Free-Press-Release.com) November 28, 2010 -- Motorway Madness is an arcade style endless-driving game. The object is to destroy all other road traffic by shooting them. Tilt your iOS device left or right to steer and tap anywhere on the screen to fire your weapon. There are no boundaries. If you go beyond the left side of the screen you’ll appear on the right side, and vice-versa.
Destroying a vehicle with your weapon earns you 10 points. If your shot completely misses you lose 5 points. Colliding with vehicles causes you to lose some health. The game has an in-app high score leaderboard but integrates with Game Center (leaderboards), so you can compete against others to be the best.
You can earn a new vehicle choice by achieving 250, 600, and 1,000 points. It’s fun to push yourself to earn them. Settings include the ability to enable or disable sound effects and play your own music using iPod integration.
Motorway Madness was created by Shiraz Omar and first appeared on the AppStore on the 15th of September 2010. It has had numerous updates since then. Each one improving the game and making it better. It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad running iOS 3.1.3 or later. The upcoming v1.2 will provide some great new features and has been re-written in OpenGL ES to improve the performance, special effects and functionality of the game.
