Motodev Game Developer Challenge Finalists Announced

Winners to be awarded at Moco News' CTIA Moco Mixer on October 22

WHAT: Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) and I-play today unveiled the finalists of the MOTODEV Game Developer Challenge, a competition that recognizes independent developers who are creating "the next big thing" in mobile gaming.

The winners for "Best Java Software Game" and "Best Windows Mobile Game" categories will be revealed at Moco News' "CTIA Moco Mixer", of which Motorola and I-play are joint platinum sponsors.

The Grand Prize winners of the two categories will be rewarded with the rare opportunity to have their winning applications published by mobile entertainment company and contest title sponsor, I-play.

WHO: Having received numerous developer submissions from across 22 countries, Motorola and I-play today announced the finalists for the two MOTODEV Game Developer Challenge categories:

For the "Best Java Software Game," submitted for play on the ultra-slim Motorola MOTOKRZR K1 handset, the finalists are:

o "Monkey Pole Climb," by Anthill Games; "Gob N Frog", by The Mighty Troglodytes; "Bees" by Barbaroga ; "Fluffy"by Rage Comunicação Interativa; "Fuseo"by Romeo Kollar; "SmilyFight" by Samurai Games; "Transit" by Lumentech; "Wordscore" by Duzine; "ZombieNoir" by Hazmat Games and "Arshad's Fight Club" by Spiel Studios.

For the "Best Windows Mobile Game," for entertainment on the powerfully functional Motorola MOTO Q family of devices, the finalists are:

o "Crazy Kart", by int13 production; "FireHawk", by C2Matrix; and "Rabbit Wars", by AIM productions.

WHEN: Winners will be announced at the Moco Mixer, 7:30pm Pacific on October 22 at The Palace Hotel, San Francisco.

The Grand Prize winners in each category will be presented with their prizes in person. The Runner-up winners in each category will receive the opportunity to meet with the judging panel to discuss their submission and receive feedback.

All winners will receive a briefcase full of Motorola's hottest handsets and a package of I-play's best-selling games.
