Event organisers CMP have unveiled plans for GDC China, which is due to take place in Shanghai this August.

GDC China will focus on topics such as online gaming, outsourcing, recruitment and mobile gaming.

The event is being jointly produced with IDG and will be overseen by an advisory board comprised of Chinese developers from companies such as Epic Games China, Shanda and DJL International.

Speakers already signed up for GDC China include David Coleman (EA Canada), Tom Leonard (Valve), Mark Ollila (Nokia), David Perry (Gameconsultants.com) and Gordon Walton (Bioware).

GDC China will take place at the Shanghai International Convention Center between August 27 - 29. For more information, visit the event website.
