Mona Hamilton appointment

VP of marketing at Capcom USA.

Capcom® Entertainment, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced that Mona Hamilton has recently joined the company as vice president of marketing. Hamilton will oversee all elements of marketing for Capcom in North America, including product marketing, creative services and communications.

“Mona and I have worked together successfully in the past and I’m pleased to welcome the addition of her management style and marketing perspective to the group here at Capcom,” said Mark Beaumont, chief operating officer and head of Capcom consumer software publishing in the Americas and Europe. “Capcom has a number of high profile titles coming and her skill set will bring a critical level of organization and creativity to help support the company’s corporate goals.”

Hamilton comes to Capcom after working with Midway Home Entertainment for five years, where she was vice president of marketing. Previously, Hamilton had worked with UbiSoft Entertainment as a group brand manager and Lewis Galoob Toys as a project manager. In 2006, Hamilton was named one of the Top 100 Influential Women in the games industry by the Women in Games International organization. Hamilton also serves on the board of directors for MI6 Games Marketing organization.
