Modern Warfare 2 still UK number one

Zelda: Spirit Tracks fails to debut in top ten as Christmas chart solidifies

Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has remained the best-selling title in the UK all formats chart for a fifth week, despite an 11 per cent drop in sales.

In one of the last weeks before Christmas there are few new releases, the fastest mover being Ubisoft's Just Dance for Wii at number eight, rising up from its debut last week at number 30.

Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for Nintendo DS was one of the few genuine new entries of the week, coming in at number 12.

With much of the rest of the top ten unchanged from the previous week Wii Sports Resort rose three places to number five with a 17 per cent surge in sales. This was enough to make the game the best selling individual format title of the week, dethroning New Super Mario Bros. Wii and coming in ahead of both Wii Fit Plus and Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360.

Assassin's Creed II was unmoved at number three in the all formats chart, with just a 3 per cent fall in sales, with Wii Fit Plus up 11 per cent at number four and FIFA 10 sales down 15 per cent at number five.
