Mobius receives Philippine Marketing Excellence Award

(Manila, Philippines, October 28, 2005) - Mobius.ph-publisher of the online role-playing adventure Mu Online-today announced that Mobius was awarded the prestigious Philippine Marketing Excellence Award for Most Outstanding Online Game in the Philippines.

The Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards Institute, the Asian Institute of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, and the Sales & Marketing Magazine jointly recognized Mobius with the 2004 Philippine Marketing Excellence Award for creating a strong company image and earning high-level customer confidence using the "best marketing practices" to dominate the market and reach potential customers across the country.

"We are honored to have received this award and believe it demonstrates the positive impact from our focus on supporting our community of gamers," said Scott Countryman, Chief Executive of Digital Media Exchange, Inc. (dme), parent company of Mobius.ph. "In the local online game scene customer support is often considered a low priority. We feel exactly the opposite and listen closely to our customers. We take their concerns very seriously which has translated into customer loyalty among our gaming community," he added.

The award was given on the basis of the results of various surveys, focus group discussions and market researches jointly conducted by consumers and marketing professionals for the sole purpose of selecting the Best Marketing companies/brands.

The survey used the following marketing metrics: market dominance, market awareness, innovative marketing practices, publicity generated in the mass media, customer service orientation, product/service quality, value pricing, likeability and goodwill, truthfulness in advertising, customer confidence, other awards received and overall market acceptability.

Mobius hosts the epic RPG game Mu Online and the casual shooting game Gunbound, and has also recently launched GoPets, an interactive online community.
