Player X has signed a new deal with FremantleMedia and the Mobile Interactive Group to publish and distribute mobile content based on hit ITV show, The X Factor.

The London-based mobile content specialist will publish two new X Factor games for mobile phones, tasking players with rerranging jumbled tiles to view pictures of the show's contestants.

O2 and T-Mobile customers can also subscribe to a new video content service that will offer programme clips, a highlights package of the best and worst moments, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

"We are expanding into the mobile video space and brands don't come any bigger than The X Factor," said Player X CEO Tony Pearce.

"This format will rule the networks until Christmas and this service is one that we hope mobile users will lap up."

FremantleMedia's Melissa Goodwin commented: "The X Factor is a priority brand for FremantleMedia and we are delighted to be partnering with Player X to offer fans yet more ways to interact with their favourite brand 24/7."
