Mobile Amusements partners with Overloaded

Mobile Amusements, based in Portsmouth, UK, has signed an exclusive partnership with Netherlands-based Overloaded for the global distribution of a series of original mobile games.

All tittles licensed under the new agreement will be available worldwide through Overloaded's dedicated online retail portal, Mobile Games TOP10, helping to realise Mobile Amusements ambitions for the global distribution of its original mobile content.

Adrian Cummings, industry veteran and owner of Mobile Amusements commented: "I am very excited about the opportunity to work closely with Overloaded on the new mobile titles, and am confident that our titles will reach the global mass market quickly and effectively given that Overloaded are one of the best publishing partners I have personally had the pleasure to work alongside in recent years."

The first title to be distributed under the partnership will be Mouse Panic!, a colourful and frantic puzzle game in which players must trap mice by guiding them towards cheese in a series of twenty-four increasingly complex levels. The game is currently available on Nokia and SonyEricsson handsets, and will shortly be available for Samsung, Motorola, Siemens and other mobile devices.

Next on the list, before the year is out, will be Soduku Dragon Gems, which is a dedicated mobile variant of the Japanese number puzzle craze which has swept the nation in recent months. Mobile Amusements, in partnership with Overloaded, will be releasing three different volumes of the title in the coming months, including Volume III which has been labelled 'Ultimate Edition' by its creators.

Mobile Amusements is led by Adrian Cummings, a veteran of the games industry who has worked for companies including Midway, Crave and Electronic Arts since the early 1990's. Until 2004, Cummings led independent publishers Mutation Software, and brings a wealth of programming, graphics, sound and design skills to the mobile industry.
