Munich, Germany, March 17, 2010 - What is green, with a scaly skin and black stripes from its head to the tip of its tail? Well, it's an Alltigrilla, of course! Introducing MIX-MAX, the craziest animal fantasy game of all times, now available exclusively in the iTunes App Store for iPhone and iPod touch: Players of all ages get to have tremendous fun while assembling various animal parts into whimsical fantasy creatures. And, even better: This app will be available completely free of charge in the iTunes App Store during the first week. 30 cute animals are found in the MIX-MAX world; their different fronts, middles and back ends can be combined to form no less than 27,000 wacky beasts. Listen to and laugh at funny audio descriptions of the newly created beasts in English or German.
Playing, laughing – and learning, of course: MIX-MAX is a game for the entire family, and even the youngest members get to sort the parts that appear in alphabetical order until they have assembled an entire animal. This helps children to learn the alphabet in a playful fashion – in both German and English – and also gives them information about the various animals. They can also listen to the hilarious combined audio descriptions in English as well as German. Thus, by switching between those two, young players can immerse themselves in a foreign language as well. But there is more to be discovered in the world of fantasy beasts: In MIX-MAX, animal experts get to collect their wildest creations in their own fun zoo and visit them over and over again. Moreover, all created animals and their descriptions can be e-mailed to family and friends by simply pressing a key.
To celebrate the introduction of the amusing create-an-animal game MIX-MAX, Ravensburger Digital is holding a big prize draw, giving away three valuable Ravensburger game packages and other prizes to an amount of more than € 1,000.
