MiST land - South changes name to GFI Russia.

As it was announced earlier, GFI (the owner of MiST land - South) has been carrying out global consolidation of resources to combine all GFI's studios under one brand and introduce unified system of technical processes developed and approved by MiST land - South. In line with GFI's policy, this has been yet another step towards building a strong brand for all internal developers of PC and mobile content. For internal identification of a studio, an appellation standing for its location or kind of activity will be added to "GFI".

The new name was determined by a poll carried out on Absolute Games portal - the leading online source for gaming information in Russia. Competing with such alternatives as GFI RUS, GFI Moscow, GFI MSK, GFI Center and GFI Greentown, GFI Russia has been selected by a majority of 31,5%.

It should be noted, it is an unprecedented event in the world's practice when video games' audience was entrusted to select a new name for a company.

GFI Russia will proceed with development of Jagged Alliance 3D, Warfare and Gluk'Oza: ACTION!
