Microsoft to publish Tecmo's Project Zero 2 in Europe

The Xbox version of Tecmo's Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly is on its way to Europe courtesy of Microsoft, with the upgraded edition of the PS2 cult title set to arrive here in January.

While the Project Zero games - known as Fatal Frame in North America - haven't sold particularly well in the UK, they're regarded as cult hits among horror game aficionados, and have garnered strong review scores for their chilling atmosphere and twisted plotlines.

The Xbox version of Project Zero 2 adds a number of additional features to the game over and above the PS2 edition of the title, which was released by Ubisoft last summer, including a first-person mode, more costumes and enemies, and better audio and graphics.
