Microsoft confirms Nov PAL launch for Kinect

In line with US release, but pricing remains mysterious

Microsoft has revealed that Europe's key markets will receive the Kinect motion controller in November, at approximately the same time as the US.

Speaking to VG247 Chris Lewis, Microsoft's VP of Interactive Entertainment Business, said, "I am pleased to say that in Europe it will also get a November launch right across the key markets, which is great. We’re… very fixated on synchronizing this and making sure that Europe is absolutely in-step with the US and other parts of the globe."

However, Lewis refused to be drawn on rumours of Kinect retailing for $189, or that there would be a second SKU. "It will be great value. I cannot comment on the numbers you just articulated, but I think you’ll be very happy when you hear our plans."

Kinect launches in the US on November 4, a few weeks after Sony's rival PlayStation Move.
