memory Music Legends

Memory game featuring album covers and tunes from pop heroes.

Munich, Germany, February 7, 2011

Players' eyes, brains and ears are equally challenged as Ravensburger Digital and Universal Music release the new memory® Music Legends for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Put your memory to the test with album covers and sound samples from more than 30 of the world's most successful, popular and famous artists of all time, from ABBA to Uriah Heep, featuring David Bowie, Elton John, Johnny Cash, and many more. Memory training thus becomes a musical journey of discovery through time.

Click on a memory card to reveal an album cover; a track from the respective album begins to play. In classic memory-game style, it is now time to look for the matching card. Who will be first to find both Bee Gees cards or the Guns N’ Roses pair? With its combination of sounds and pictures, memory® Music Legends is ideal for players who remember the first live performances of Dire Straits, Santana or Stevie Wonder, as well as for the legends' younger fans. Of course, there are three adjustable levels of difficulty. Variation is guaranteed not only through a fantastic mixture of musical styles, but also through the three game modes "Classic", "Duel", and "Adventure". There is also much to learn in the game, as it includes information such as successes, discographies and background for all featured artists.

But there is still more: Players who, during their exciting album hunt, discover that they are still missing a particular album in their personal music collection, can use the link to the iTunes Music Store at any time during the game – even in the middle of a duel.

Whether the players are long-time music lovers reliving past memories or young people just getting to know icons in musical history , memory® Music Legends is the app that adds that special twist to a much-loved classic.

memory® Music Legends from Ravensburger Digital and Universal Music is now available in the iTunes App Store for the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad version.
