Mass Effect Andromeda holds No.1 in UK retail charts

New Kingdom Hearts update debuts at No.4

Mass Effect Andromeda sales dropped by 78%, but it managed to retain its No.1 position for its second week on sale.

It matches the achievement of Mass Effect 2, which also racked up two No.1s back-to-back (Mass Effect 3 just had one week at No.1).

The game just about outsold Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which remains at No.2.

It was a really quiet week for games retail, and that's going to continue throughout the month of April. The most notable releases being Dawn of War III on PC (although that'll primarily be a digital release), Mario Kart 8 on Switch and Little Nightmares from Bandai Namco. The next really significant multi-format release is Prey from Bethesda at the beginning of May.

There was one new release this week in the form of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix. The Square Enix game performed strongly and debuts at No.4 in the charts.
