Mary-Margaret launches Serious Games Summit VIP contest

Recruitment services agency Mary-Margaret.com has announced the second annual Serious Games Summit D.C. VIP Contest.

Co-sponsored by summit organisers the CMP Game Group, the contest offers entrants the chance to win a conference pass worth USD 795 and dinner at the Chesapeake Grill restaurant. The winner will also receive a year's subscription to Game Developer Magazine: Digital Edition.

The Serious Games Summit is designed to bring together attendees from various fields - including health, military, government and academia - to share ideas and methods for using games to train and educate. More than 40 conference sessions are planned, and a new Developer Showcase will give studios a platform to exhibit their latest game content.

"Since attending some of the very first gatherings of serious game developers, corporations and government bodies, we have been an enthusiastic promoter of this exciting genre of game development," said Mary-Margaret.com's Robin McShaffry.

"Serious Games Summit D.C. represents the pinnacle of these events."

To enter, visit Mary-Margaret.com. The closing date for the competition is October 12.

The Serious Games Summit D.C. 2005 will take place at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia. A discount entry rate of USD 595 is available until September 21 via the event website.
