Organisers of the MI6: Marketing Interactive conference have announced the list of confirmed speakers for the new event, which will take place alongside the inaugural Senet Awards for game marketing.

Scheduled to take place at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Centre on June 27th and 28th, the MI6 conference has been specifically designed to cater for videogame marketing and promotion professionals, and will feature a series of seminars, workshops, panel discussions and networking events.

Amongst the growing list of confirmed speakers at the conference will be Doug Scott, director of sports entertainment & lifestyle marketing, Electronic Arts; Steve Allison, chief marketing officer at Midway Games; Helene Juguet, director of marketing at Ubisoft; and Julie Shumaker, EA's national director of sales and videogame advertising.

As an integral part of the conference programme, the first annual Senet Awards - named after the ancient Egyptian board game which is believed to be the oldest game in the world - will enable marketers to vote for their peers in over fifty categories.

Those eligible for award consideration include corporate in-house marketing and promotion teams, advertising agencies, creative companies, design firms and independents involved in the marketing and promotion of interactive entertainment.

Full details of the confirmed conference session, workshop and keynote speakers, together with additional information and registration details for the Senet Awards, can be found by visiting the official MI6 conference website.
