Mark Kern appointment

Red 5 Studios, a leading developer of next generation massively-multiplayer online gaming experiences, announced today that Mark Kern has moved into a new role as Chairman and Chief Creative Officer. In this position, Kern will draw on his world-class game development experience to lead the technical and design efforts for the studio’s titles. Michael Weingartner, previously Red 5’s Vice President of Engineering, has been appointed President and CEO of the company.

In his new role, Kern will be responsible for the overall creative direction of Red 5’s unannounced project and future games, while Weingartner will handle the day to day operations of the studio.
