MapleStory Europe

Spain's La Tomatina festival being celebrated with a battle against giant tomato monsters.

MapleStory Europa goes to Spain and celebrates the La Tomatina festival with a special event in game. Maplers are challenged to defeat the giant tomato monsters that are crawling all over the MapleStory Europe landscape during the La Tomatina festival. Curious Maplers who want to know the whole story can ask Ben in Orbis about the legend behind and the secrets of the monsters. These might help the parties to slay the monsters more easily, save the towns and gather goodies to boot their ability by mixing up a special tomato juice.

The real-life La Tomatina happens on the last Wednesday of August in Spain’s Valencia region. Traditionally, the week-long festival draws 20,000 to 40,000 visitors – a number that MapleStory Europe wants to challenge with their in-game La Tomatina festival. After the success of last year’s first La Tomatina event in MapleStory Europe, Maplers will get a second stab at the mighty tomato monsters. But beware: these creatures are sneaky and would do anything to survive!
