Following Majesco's announcement yesterday that it was to publish Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends in North America, analyst Todd Greenwald has reiterated his buy stock recommendation.

He stated today in an NCP release that it was a "big win" for the company, that "Cooking Mama 2 was likely a competitive bid, and it is impressive that Majesco secured it as it was probably going up against much larger players."

He went on to underline the importance in his mind of Majesco's close relationships with Japanese developers, and noted the company's potential.

"We believe there is a wealth of casual game content that is not being fully exploited on all platforms, which represents an opportunity for Majesco on the DS and Wii over the next 12-18 months."

Greenwald also estimated the potential revenue for Cooking Mama 2 could reach as much as USD 20 million based on sales of between 300,000 and 400,000 on both the DS and Wii platforms.

Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends will be published by 505 Games in Europe.
