Magna Mundi

Developer diary launched for strategy game due late next year.

NEW YORK – October 29th, 2010 –  Paradox Interactive and Universo Virtual have today announced the launch of the first in a series of developer diaries for Magna Mundi, a Grand Strategy game that immerses the player in history’s great epochs from the fall of Constantinople through to the Age of Discovery in the West. 8 brand new in-game screenshots have also been released alongside the developer diary. Magna Mundi is scheduled for release in Q4 2011.

The Magna Mundi developer diaries will be an ongoing feature published bi-weekly on the Paradox Forum leading all the way up until the game’s release next year. Commenting on his ambitions for the game itself, Carlo Gustavo, the designer for Magna Mundi said,

All things considered, my objective is to make the player the main character of a unique history that they can influence but never determine. That character is a country and through the emotional link of living its story and seeing it progress, the player will be engaged to discover where his skill, his choices and chance will take then. Every game will produce a unique ending.”
