MACROSPACE AND CARTOON NETWORK PUT GAMERS UNDER STARTERS ORDERS FOR A SPECIAL POCKET-SIZED WACKY RACE

London, UK 3 October 2004 Cartoon Network, the world's most widely distributed kids' animation channel, and Macrospace, the global provider of mobile games and mobile gaming services, today announces the global launch of 'Wacky Races', a fantastic new 3D-style racing game for mobile phones.

'Wacky Races' is the first mobile outing for Peter Perfect, The Gruesome Twosome, Penelope Pitstop, Professor Pat Pending and all the other crazy characters from the original animated series. 'Wacky Races' features six brilliant tracks to race, with jumps, tunnels, tumbling boulders and loads of other hazards to challenge even the most skilled racer. There are also plenty of powerups that you can collect and use to help you beat the other racers to the finish line. The game features all 11 Wacky Racing teams, each with their own unique skill - from the Slag Brothers' Speed Ram attack to a special smokescreen belched out by Luke and Brother Bear on the Arkansas Chugabug!

"Wacky Races is a game that truly captures all the fun, madness and brilliant visuals of the original cartoon," said John Ozimek, Head of Marketing and Communications at Macrospace. "This is our first game to use 3D-style graphics; it allows us to build a really immersive racing game with a great sense of speed and motion. And of course being a Cartoon Network title, there is plenty of fun and great visuals to complete the package. As with all Macrospace games this title shows the kind of innovative and engrossing gameplay possible on today's mobile handsets, and we are sure it will quickly become a real favourite with mobile gamers and Cartoon Network fans alike."

Mobile games based on Cartoon Network characters are part of the Cartoon Network Mobile channel, which extends the globally recognised Cartoon Network brand into a widely deployed, interactive and fun mobile content universe for cartoon fans around the world. Macrospace and Cartoon Network have worked closely to produce Java, i-mode and BREW versions of wireless games featuring Cartoon Network's cast of characters.
