Machination
Steampunk robot game gets funds through Kickstarter.
Matthew Klausmeier, co-founder of Signal Flare Games, said, “We are delighted to have reached our funding goal so quickly, and are looking forward to releasing Machination later this year. Any funds raised in excess of our original goal will go toward launching the game for Android devices as soon as possible.”
In Machination, players take the role of would-be evil geniuses, working for FAUST (a secret society of steampunk villains). The goal is to build increasingly difficult combinations of robots to thwart the goals of the do-gooder Tesla Rangers and their spies.
Fans of steampunk and those eager to support indie game development can pledge upward of $1 to support development of the game, earning exclusive Machination items in return.
